PROGRAM PROFILES:

Knitting/Crochet Group

This group meets every Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. in the Boardroom. Knitting, crocheting, sewing, crafts are worked on at these sessions. Everyone is welcome, no firm commitment and no fees to attend.

 

Duplicate Bridge

Bridge meets every Tuesday and Thursday at 1:00 p.m. in the

Banquet Hall. Contact Ruth at 482-4177 for more information.

 

Light & Lively and Sit & Get Fit

fitness classes are held twice a week Tuesday and Friday mornings. 

 

Moving with Muscle

Fitness classes are held twice a week Monday and Wednesday mornings.

 

Floor Curling

Curling is played every Wednesday afternoon at 1:00 p.m.

Painting

Beautiful, creative paintings are what you will create under the direction of Pat Johnson at her painting classes. This group meets every Monday afternoon at 1:00 p.m.

 

Pickelball is played at the Memorial Hall at 1:30 p.m. every Monday,Tuesday andFriday afternoon.

 

Quilting 

The ladies in the Quilting group meet every Friday afternoon at 10:00 a.m. New quilters and beginners welcome or drop in. There are no fees to attend this activity. 

  

Snooker/Pool

The Gordon Howard Centre has a poolroom with 3 tables just waiting for anyone to drop in for a game or two. Hours of use are 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday. Members fees: .75 cents per game; Non-Members pay $1.00 per game. Please note a Non-Member must be accompanied by a member of the Centre.

Woodcarving

The Woodcarvers also known as the "Catfish Carvers" meet Tuesday afternoons at 1:00 p.m. in the Boardroom. This group is always willing to adopt new members. 

 

Writing for Fun

This fun class is held in the Multi-purpose room on Thursday mornings.  New members are always welcome. Cost per class is $2.00 per person.
